I am NOT selling Rolex watches nor viagra.
It is the end of humpday. We are just back from Andy's jazz band concert. He did really well! Great solos on the baritone sax on a couple of Ellington songs and a Stanley Turrentine piece.
He is still feeling poorly, but felt well enough today (it was a half-day at school) to go to lunch with his friends. Spouse and I had lunch (with coupons!) ourselves and mailed packages, gassed up the car and picked up a few in-between groceries. I haven't gone to the grocery store for a "big shop" in several weeks. We're eating out of the pantry and freezer, so that's good.
I suspect Andy will stay home sick tomorrow - he really does have a bad head cold, and I pray that he doesn't give it to me. (I am such a terrible mother!)
Friday, spouse and I have a bunch of appointments and errands, and on Saturday after Andy's sax lesson, we go to take his parents to lunch.
The good car (our Toyota) developed a "Check Engine" light, and when I took it to the dealership, I was given an $800 estimate for a filter and a sensor. Hmmmmmmm. I'm going to take it to another mechanic and see what he says. Really? $800 and the car runs just fine except for having the light?
Saturday night we have concert tickets to the symphony which should be nice.
Did I mention that Andy and I are going to Florida next month during his school break? I really, really want to see my sister. Spouse can't come because he has classes and can't miss before his school's spring break. Sigh...I'll miss him!
Also - rest assured, if you've received an email from me, that I have not now, nor never have sold Rolex watches, Russian brides, Viagra, Cialis, enhancement drugs, lottery tickets or diamonds. Apparently my d-land account has been hacked again, and I am blanketing the world with invitations to buy stuff. I am so sorry!
And for now, that's what I got.
