Hope chests
Cub scouts last night. We made tool boxes. The cub father who hosted the meeting was so proud of his son and daughter (who joined us for the meeting); so proud of his shop; so proud to show us the chests and cabinets he made in his house. He brought me upstairs to show me the hope chest he had made for his wife before they got engaged. He glowed with joy looking at it. She beamed when he told her that he had shown it to us. So sweet this little, happy family. So giving of their own happiness to us.
